Today, we live in a world of what appears to be freedom. This world is full of banter about our rights as parents, children, transgenders, believers and the list goes on. Everyone has their rights and no one's rights can be violated. However, many of these so-called rights will contradict another’s. It is not possible to please everyone all the time. And yet, this is how America is trying to sell reality. Be who you are, speak your truth, don’t let anyone stand in your way. People do not seem to care how you get your point across either as it often comes at the expense of someone else.
As the world screams for their rights, especially the right to abort your child, there is a numbness to the truth behind it. Abortion is not healthcare. There is a baby at stake. There is a woman’s physical and emotional well-being at stake. There is the father’s right
at stake. There are few who will admit to this as we are about to take to the polls because if they do, they risk becoming human again and awakening to the fact that they are fighting for death. If there is any hope at all left for humanity, the thought of death would surely change the agenda. Isn’t that what most people are disputing over? Their ability to live the way they want? Life and death cannot coincide.
Lord, have mercy on us.
